- Switch off ignition.
- Detach coupling at component B16/15 (Temperature sensor upstream of SCR catalytic converter).
- Connect adapter cable no. 220 589 00 99 37 to engine wiring harness B16/15 (Temperature sensor upstream of SCR catalytic converter).
- Measure direct voltage with multimeter between sockets (B16/15x1) 2 and (B16/15x1) 1
- Switch on ignition.
Specified value

- Voltage[4.75...5.25] V
