Reclamacion:
Engine diagnosis warning lamp lights up in instrument cluster.
Models 204 and 212: Fault code 2060 (fault text: The PremAir sensor has a malfunction) in fault memory of gasoline engine control unit.
The engine does not display any problems with engine running characteristics.
Causa:
In borderline cases a data entry error in the software of the gasoline engine control unit results in the entry of these fault codes
In most cases this relates to short leisure light acceleration driving conditions when the engine might not reach the operating temperature at a predefined pace excepted by the ME software.
Remedio:
The ME software update is available.
