AZ88.30-P-0003-03EW Retrofit Front Mud Guards
- except CODE (772) AMG styling package - front spoiler, side skirts, and rear apron
- except CODE (950) AMG sport package

Repair Materials:

Work procedure shown on left side of vehicle.







1. Clean front fender in crosshatched areas with specified cleaning agent.

Front fender must be dry, free of dust and grease in crosshatched areas.

2. Remove expansion rivets (6) from inner fender.

Expansion rivets (6) can be reused.







3. Remove protective foil on adhesive strips on front mud guards (1) at corners and position so that ends of protective foil extend beyond outer edge of front mud guards (1).

Do not remove protective foil completely from adhesive strips.

4. Position front mud guard (1) at front fender as shown in picture.
5. Install expansion rivets (6) on fender liner.
6. Screw in self-cutting sheet metal screw (7).
7. Install retaining clamps (5).

Ensure that the retaining clamp (5) is installed so that the barbs (5.1) can reach into the mud guards (1). If this is not observed, the paint on the fender can be damaged and corrosion can occur.







8. Screw in self-cuting sheet metal screw (7) from below.
9. Remove entire protective foil from adhesive strips on front mud guards (1) and uniformly press adhesive strips against front fender (1)
10. Protect inner front fender edge against corrosion in area of clamps on front mud guards (1) with preservation agent.
