Modulating pressure, general
The modulating pressure influences the level of the working pressure and, together with the shift pressure, determines the pressure regulated at the overlap regulating valve.

The modulating pressure is regulated at the modulating pressure control solenoid valve supplied with control valve pressure (Y3/6y1). The level of modulating pressure is variable and depends on the engine load.
