Function
The starter lockout contact is operated in selector lever positions "P, N". As a result the permanent magnet is released by the reed contact. The dry-reed contact is opened. The ETC control unit (N15/3) receives an electrical signal. The electric circuit to the starter (M1) is closed in selector lever position "P, N".
