Complaint:
In vehicles as of model year 2010 (code 800), all the indicator lamps in the instrument cluster (A1) may light up after engine start and various fault messages appear in the display of the instrument cluster (A1).
Note:
Fault codes concerning CAN communication with the instrument cluster (A1) may be stored in various control units.
Cause:
No CAN communication by instrument cluster (A1)
Remedy:
Perform control unit programming of instrument cluster (A1) with DAS/Xentry Diagnostics 01/2010 or higher. After control unit programming the instrument cluster software should be A221 902 24 02.
Do not remove/install/replace any parts.
