GF27.19-P-5179ACW Control Solenoid Valve Shift Pressure Component Description

GF27.19-P-5179ACW Control solenoid valve shift pressure component description
- TRANSMISSION 722.618/640/646/695/699

Component Identification:

Location
The control solenoid valve for the shift pressure is located on the supporting body of the automatic transmission's electric controller unit and pressed by a leaf spring (2c) against the valve housing of the valve body assembly (2a).

Task
The control solenoid valve for shift pressure regulates the shift pressure depending on the constantly changing operating conditions (e.g. load change and gear change).

Component Identification:

Design
Shown here, shifting phase

The control solenoid valve for the shift pressure is firmly seated and is sealed with a gap seal (arrow) facing the shift plate valve body (2a).

The contact springs (32) on the shift pressure control solenoid valve engage in a slot in the conductor tracks (33). The force of the contact springs (32) ensures safe contacts.

Function
The shift pressure control solenoid valve assigns a load-dependent regulated current from the electronic transmission-control control unit (N15/3) to a proportional pressure.
