GF27.60-P-5164ACK Electronic Transmission Control Control Unit, Component Description
GF27.60-P-5164ACK Electronic transmission control control unit, component description
- Transmission 722.695
Component Identification:
Location
The ETC control unit is located on the front passenger foot well plate.
Task
General The ETC [EGS] control unit determines the instantaneous operating condition of the vehicle and controls all gear change sequences taking into account shift comfort and the driving situation.
Flash programming
The transmission control in the ETC control unit is flashable, i.e. the complete software of the control unit can be exchanged (replaced). The software required to program the control units is stored on the STAR DIAGNOSIS DAS Update DVD.
CAN data bus
The ETC control unit is connected to the CAN system of the vehicle via the engine compartment CAN (CAN-C) and exchanges data with other control units.
Input and output signals
The following input signals are evaluated by the ETC control unit and the corresponding output signals are issued:
^ Direct input signals
^ Direct output signals
^ CAN input signals
^ CAN output signals
