Component Identification:

Location
The left front power window motor is located below the door paneling in the left door and the right front power window motor is located below the door paneling in the right door.

Design
The left front power window motor and right front power window motor are DC motors, which turn left or right depending on the polarity of the armature voltage.

Both power window motors are protected against overheating by a thermal protection switch.
They are equipped with two Hall sensors each for position recognition.

The left door control unit (N69/1) actuates the left front power window motor and evaluates the Hall sensor signals.
The right door control unit (N69/2) actuates the right front power window motor and evaluates the Hall sensor signals.
