GF27.60-P-5166ACM Locking Solenoid For Reverse/Park Pawl, Component Description

GF27.60-P-5166ACM Locking solenoid for reverse/park pawl, component description
- TRANSMISSION 722.643/649
- refinement package
- as of model year 09

Component Identification:

Location
The locking solenoid for reverse/park pawl is integrated in the electronic selector lever module control unit.

Task
The locking solenoid for reverse/park pawl prevents, depending on the precondition, shifting out of selector lever position "P" or changing over into selector lever position "N" to "R" (R/P-lock).

Design R/P-lock
- Locking lever
- Reversing and parking lock locking solenoid
- Rocker
- Rocker leaf spring
- Rocker arm
- Rocker arm leaf spring

Component Identification:

At a vehicle speed >8 km/h the locking solenoid for reverse/park pawl is actuated by the electronic selector lever module control unit. The rocker arm presses on the rocker which is turned into the locking position. The locking lever abuts the rocker and the selector lever cannot be moved into selector lever position "R".

Component Identification:

The selector lever position "P" is locked if the locking solenoid for reverse/park pawl is not actuated by the electronic selector lever module control unit.
The preconditions are:

- No power supply to the electronic selector lever module control unit
- Brake pedal not actuated

Under these preconditions the rocker is held in front of the locking lever by the spring force of the leaf spring.

The selector lever cannot be shifted away from position "P". The locking solenoid for reverse/park pawl is actuated with "circuit 15 ON" and the brake pedal operated.

The rocker arm presses on the rocker and the selector lever can be shifted out of the selector lever position "P".
