GF27.19-P-1112ACM Component Description For the RPM Sensor

GF27.19-P-1112ACM Component description for the rpm sensor
- TRANSMISSION 722.643/649
- refinement package
- as of model year 09

Component Identification:

Location
The rpm sensors 2 and 3 are permanently connected with the supporting body of the electric controller unit via contact blades.

Task
The signals of the rpm sensors 2 and 3 are acquired together with the wheel speeds and engine speeds as well as additional information in the EGS control unit (N15/3) and are input signals for the electronic transmission control.

Function
The rpm sensors 2 and 3 are pressed against the transmission housing by a leaf spring which is supported at the valve housing of the valve body assembly. This ensures defined distances between the rpm sensors 2 and 3 and the associated pulse rings.

Rpm sensor 2 takes up the rpm of the front sun gear via the external plate carrier of the multidisk clutch K1 Rpm sensor 3 takes up the speed of the front planet carrier via the internal plate carrier of the multidisk clutch K1.
