Electrically adjustable steering column, general
The electrically adjustable steering column permits the following partial functions which are described in separate documents:
^ Adjust/save steering column
^ Easy entry/exit steering column adjustment (with code (241)
Memory switch for left electrically adjustable driver seat)

Normalization of the steering column is important for the limitation of the adjustment range. For normalization of the steering column the respective limit stops of the steering column adjustment are approached and the count status of the Hall sensor signals stored as a normalizing position.
