Location
The circulation pump is located under the LH lamp unit in the return line to the low-temperature cooler.

Task
The circulation pump ensures circulation of the coolant around the charge air cooling circuit.

Function
The circulation pump is actuated through the charge air cooler circulation pump relay by the ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10), if the charge air temperature is above 47°C. It is switched off again if the charge air temperature falls below 35°C.
