Component Identification:

Location
The blower motor is located on the right in the air conditioning housing below the glove box.

Task
The blower motor delivers fresh air or air from the interior compartment corresponding to the position of the fresh air and air recirculation flap through the air conditioning housing into the vehicle interior.

Depending on the blower stage, the AAC [KLA] control and operating unit (N22) transmits a control signal from 0 to 100 % via the AC bus to the blower regulator (A32n1). The blower regulator then regulates the operating voltage for the blower motor. This allows the blower speed to be controlled continuously from 0 to 100 %.
