Location
The Keyless Go control unit is located in the trunk on the rear left.

Task
The Keyless-Go control unit has the following purposes:
^ Reading in of sensors and signals
^ Evaluation of input factors
^ Actuation of components

Reading in of sensors and signals
The input factors are read in with the following connections:
^ Direct line
^ Interior CAN (CAN B)

Direct line

The following components are read in via a direct line:
- Keyless Go antenna, left trunk (A2/35)
- Left door Keyless Go antenna (A2/38)
- Right door Keyless Go antenna (A2/40)
- Rear Keyless Go antenna (A97)
- Keyless-Go start/stop pushbutton (S2/3)
- Left door actuator (S47)
- Right door actuator (S48)

Interior CAN
The following components are read in via the interior CAN:
by the pneumatic controller unit with combined functions (A37):
- RTC [HDFS] button (S62/26) (with code (881) Remote trunk closing (RTC [HDFS]))
- Trunk lid external operation switch (S88/8)
- Trunk lid locking switch (S134) (with code (887) Valet Parking)

by the rear SAM control unit and ESP, SPS [PML] and BAS control unit (N47-5):
- Stop light switch (S9/1)

The following signals are read in over the interior CAN:
From the instrument cluster (A1):
- Vehicle speed signal

From the EZS control unit (N73)
- Circuit status
- Selector lever position

Evaluation of input factors
The input factors that have been read in are evaluated by the integrated microprocessor and the affected components are then actuated.

Actuation of components
The following components are actuated via a direct line:
- Left luggage compartment KEYLESS-GO antenna
- Left door KEYLESS-GO antenna
- Right door KEYLESS-GO antenna
- Left door Keyless Go lift solenoid (L12)
- Right door Keyless Go lift solenoid (L12/2)
