GF46.15-P-3005T Adjustment to Driving Position Function

GF46.15-P-3005T Adjustment to driving position function
- with CODE (275a) Memory package (driver's seat, steering column, mirrors)

Function prerequisites:
Turning the transmitter key (A8/1) when driver's door is closed
^ From position 0 to circuit 15C
^ or from circuit 15C to circuit 15R
^ or from circuit 15R to circuit 15

Open and close driver's door with transmitter key (A8/1) in position circuit 15.

Function
After getting into the vehicle, the driver's seat and steering column are moved into the driving position which was last adjusted. The last driving position depends on the current memory block number and is controlled by the driver-side front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/1).

The storage block number designates the data record which is stored key-related in the electronic ignition switch control unit (N73).

Abort conditions
All abort conditions are monitored by the driver front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/1).

Adjustment to the driving position is not reactivated when the input signal that caused the abort returns to its initial state. This applies to all abort conditions. Only when the activation conditions are satisfied again is adjustment to the driving position reactivated.

Approaching the driving position is aborted if the driver intervenes by operating the left door seat adjustment switch group memory (S91/2).

Abort due to contrary state transitions
Approaching the driving position is aborted by the driver-side front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/1), if there is the following change in the status of the transmitter key position and door contact which contradict the triggering conditions:
^ Circuit 15 to circuit 15R
^ Circuit 15R to circuit 15C
^ Circuit 15C to any circuit
^ Driver's door open after driver's door closed with circuit 15 OFF

Repetition safeguard
The alternating insertion and removal of the transmitter key (A8/1) results in an interplay between approaching the entry/exit position and the driving position (with the door open: steering column only; with the door closed: seat and steering column). To prevent this, the number of cycles is limited to 5. The counter is reset when
^ the transmitter key (A8/1) is turned to circuit 15R or
^ if the status of the driver's door changes.
