Complaint:

Programming of the SBC control unit is aborted at 20% progress.

In XENTRY DAS the message "An error occurred during control unit programming"" appears and fault code P1 F100 K3 E50 T0 U0 is displayed.

Cause:

The serial data link between Star Diagnosis and the SBC module is disrupted.

Possible causes:

1. 9-pin adapter cable is damaged.

2. 9-pin connector of SBC module is damaged.

3. 9-pin connector of Star Diagnosis unit is damaged.

Remedy:

Follow menu guidance in DAS.

1. Replace 9-pin adapter cable if necessary.

Note:
Do not use serial cables from the computer accessory retail trade!

2. Check 9-pin connector on SBC module for damage and replace SBC module if necessary.

3. Check 9-pin connector on Star Diagnosis unit and have Star Diagnosis unit repaired if necessary
