Engine Compartment - Required
Leakage - Major components
- Check for chafe marks, line routing, damaged components. In the event of leakage, determine cause and perform repairs with separate work order.
- Check condition of poly-V-belt
- Check catch, safety catch and hinges of engine hood for proper operation.
- Drain fuel filter (Engine 642)

Check the following fluid levels, correct if necessary
If there is a loss of fluid, determine cause and perform repair with separate work order.
- Brake system
- Power steering
- Windshield washer system, incl. rear window washer (where applicable)

Interior - Required
- Reset maintenance service indicator in instrument cluster
- Check parking brake (function test only)

Interior - Recommended
Function check
- Horn
- Warning/indicator lamps, illumination and interior lighting
- Windshield wipers, windshield washer system, headlamp cleaning system, where applicable: rear window wiper, rear window washer system.
- Check safety belts and buckles for signs of external damage and function

Wheels, brakes - Required
- Check thickness of brake pads, front and rear
- Correct tire inflation pressure and enter in bar or psi

Wheels, brakes - Recommended
- Inspect tires for damage and splits, measure tread depth and record in mm

Vehicle front/rear - Recommended
- Check wiper blade condition
- Correct headlamp setting

Underside of vehicle - Required
Leakage - Major components
- Check for chafe marks, line routing, damaged components. In the event of leakage, determine cause and perform repairs with separate work order.
- Check front axle joints for play, check rubber boots
- Inspect condition of flexible discs
- Inspect play of tie rod and drag link joints, inspect rubber boots

Trunk - Required
- Correct inflation pressure in spare tire and enter in bar or psi (where equipped)

Trunk - Recommended
- Check trunk lighting
- Battery, check and correct fluid level
- Check battery condition using "Midtronics MCR 717" Tester.
- Check TIREFIT sealeant expiration date and enter here
If necessary replace TIREFIT subject to a separate repair order
(AMG wagons with third row seat only).
