The voice output of the navigation system features the following languages:

- French
- Spanish
- Portuguese
- Italian

- Using the left multifunction steering wheel button group (S110) and the right multifunction steering wheel button group (S111)
When voice output is active the announcement volume can be adjusted using the following components:

The audio output volume is dynamically aligned with the noise level inside the vehicle (speed-dependent volume control (SDV [GAL])).
A special note is given during voice output in the following cases:
- Destination in area not accessible by car
- Destination in area with restricted traffic access
- Route via ferry

Function sequence
The radio control panel and navigation unit combines the word segments into complete instructions or information by means of the integrated navigation processor during a voice output and generates low frequency (LF) signals. If required, the low frequency signals are forwarded via the Media Oriented System Transport (MOST) to the amplifier for sound system (N40/3), with code 810 Sound system, where they are then amplified.
The low frequency signals are sent from the amplifier for sound system to the following speakers via direct lines:
- Left front door speaker group (H4/1)
- Right front door speaker group (H4/2)
- Center cockpit speaker (centerfill) (H4/27)
On vehicles without code (810) Sound system, the voice output is performed via the radio control panel and navigation unit using direct lines to the speakers:
