Reason for block

COMPLAINT:

With the named vehicles, all analog pointers in the instrument cluster (A1) may not be functional for approx. one to two minutes after the engine is started. Full functionality is then restored.

NOTES:
The fault code occurs at low temperatures in particular.

CAUSE:

Fault during synchronization phase of pointers in instrument cluster (A1).

REMEDY:

Program new software for instrument cluster (A1) A2049023401 (model 204) or A2044423021 (model 207, 212) or higher.

NOTE:
The required software is available as of the following Xentry diagnostics versions:

Model 204 as of 06/2009

Model 207 as of 05/2009

Model 212 as of 02/2009.
