GF82.95-P-2001SK Authorization, Function
- with CODE (359) TELE AID emergency call system

A prerequisite for the use of the telematics services is an emergency call system control unit (N123/4) communication module that has been authorized for the relevant service. In other words, the communication module of the emergency call system control unit (N123/4) must have been configured with the telephone number of the relevant service provider in the factory. In the next step, users must authorize themselves at the service center using this telephone number. Authorization sometimes takes place in the factory.

The telematics services are activated by pressing the relevant button on the MB-Info and breakdown assistance button group (S93/6) or in the case of a manual emergency call by pressing the SOS pushbutton switch (S93/3) on the overhead control panel control unit (N70). After activation has taken place, the emergency call system control unit (N123/4) transmits a Short Message Service (SMS) message to the service center. A voice connection to the service center is set up at the same time.

Misuse of emergency call alarm is subject to punishment.
