MB-Info call
The "MB-Info" service allows the customer to get in contact with a DaimlerChrysler service center. This information service can provide the user with general current information (e.g. on traffic conditions, on possible detours) or additional DC-specific information. This service is primarily a voice service and is provided via the emergency call system control unit (N123/4). When the user presses the MB-Info and breakdown assistance button group (S93/6), the service is activated.
If the service is authorized and no higher-priority service is active, the emergency call system control unit (N123/4) sends an SMS to the service center.
The following data are transmitted:
^ Vehicle position
^ Vehicle identification data
^ Customer identification data (telephone number)
After an SMS has been sent, a voice connection is immediately established to the service center and the user can speak with a service receptionist. If the service center cannot establish a connection to the vehicle, the emergency call system control unit (N123/4) attempts to establish a connection from the vehicle to the service center. The info service is provided free of charge by Mercedes-Benz customer service.
The following information can be inquired:
^ Current traffic conditions
^ Answers to technical questions

^ Products from Mercedes-Benz
^ Complaints
