GF82.95-P-2006RE Voice Connection to Vehicle, Function

GF82.95-P-2006RE Voice Connection To Vehicle, Function
- with CODE (349) E Call emergency call system

After an EMERGENCY CALL is received by the central services (police, fire department etc.), a radio connection is set up with the vehicle in order to be able to question the occupants or persons involved. This allows rescue measures to be started depending on the actual severity of the accident.
The radio traffic between the vehicle and the responsible rescue center is accomplished via the vehicle phone system.

This takes place over the telephone antenna (A2/22) and the telephone transmitter/receiver, D2B (A35/13) .

Should the telephone antenna no longer be capable of operating as the result of an accident the system automatically switches over to the Emergency call backup antenna (A2/50) .

The voice link is established through the handsfree system microphone (B25) and the loudspeakers of the emergency call system (H4/46, H4/47).

The voice connection must exist for at least 30 seconds. If it is interrupted during this time, the call connection is repeated.
