GF27.60-P-5168AHI Drive Unit Control Unit Component Description

GF27.60-P-5168AHI Drive unit control unit component description
- TRANSMISSION 722.930

Component Identification:

Location
The drive unit control unit is located in the footwell behind the driver seat.

Task

General
On the drive unit control unit, up to five modular switches/sensors can be directly connected. These are then read in by the drive unit control unit, digitized and applied cyclically to the interior CAN (CAN 13) for further processing.

The drive unit control unit contains memory functions for storing states (e.g. settings). Apart from this the drive unit control unit is also equipped with an internal fault memory.

Basic functions
- Reading in the signals for the drive unit transmission mode adjustment rotary switch, ESP-Sport-Off drive unit button (S193/1), suspension drive unit button (S193/2) and the drive unit button (S193/3)
- Transmission of transmission mode selection "RS", "C", "S", "S+", and "M".

Flash programming
The drive unit control unit is flashable i.e. the complete software in the control unit can be changed (replaced). The software required to program the control units is stored on the STAR DIAGNOSIS DAS Update DVD.

CAN data bus
The drive unit control unit is connected to the CAN system of the vehicle via the interior CAN (CAN-C) and exchanges data with other control units.

Input and output signals
The following input signals are evaluated by the drive unit control unit and the corresponding output signals issued:
