Component Identification:

1 Remove exhaust shielding plate (106a) and exhaust shielding plate (106b).

2.1 Detach additional volume reservoir on right (60a) and additional volume reservoir on left (60b).

Correct the rear articulation angle (3)

Component Identification:

Corresponding shims are available as a replacement part for articulation angle correction at the rear axle center assembly.

The shims are available with a hole eccentricity of 1 mm to 4 mm. 1 mm corresponds to a change in the articulation angle of approx. 0.2 degrees to 0.3 degrees. The eccentricity measurement is marked on the top of the shim.

Component Identification:

3 Support rear axle center assembly with transmission jack and transmission platform.
4 Detach bolts (51a) and nuts (51c) from transverse bridge (51).
5 Remove shims (51b).
6 Install the appropriate shims (51b) according to the type of correction.

Ensure that the shims (51b) are correctly positioned, see diagram. All the shims installed must have the same eccentric hole arrangement.

7 Install bolts (51a) and nuts (51c).
8 Remove transmission jack and transmission platform.

9.1 Attach additional volume reservoir on right (60a) and additional volume reservoir on left (60b).
10 Install exhaust shielding plate (106a) and exhaust shielding plate (106b).
