Component Identification:

1 Before removing the centering sleeve, measure and note the press-in dimension "a".

Depending on the version of flexible disk (for example, on vehicles with vibration damper) it may lead to a deviation between the measured and the specified press-in dimension "a". Then the measured press-in dimension "a" is to be taken into account before removal.





2 Knock centering sleeve evenly out of propeller shaft (arrow) using a flat chisel.

Component Identification:

If it is not possible to hammer out the centering sleeve using a chisel:
3 Drill a hole (dia. 10 mm) 15 mm from the end face of the centering sleeve (10) at right-angles through the centering sleeve.

Component Identification:

4 Insert a drift through the bore and lever the centering sleeve (10) out of the propeller shaft using two assembly levers.
