AR41.10-P-0100T Remove/Install Intermediate Bearing and Grooved Ball Bearing






Remove/Install
1 Remove propeller shaft
2 Separate front and rear half of propeller shaft (1, 2) at the sliding connection

CAUTION: Installation: Coat splined shaft profile with Molykote grease.

3 Detach boot (4) from front half of propeller shaft (1)

CAUTION: Installation: Replace damaged boot, paying attention to the correct seating.

4 Pull off rubber mount (7b) with grooved ball bearing (8)

NOTE: Installation: Press rubber mount with grooved ball bearing onto joint fork.

5 Press deep-groove ball bearing (8) out of rubber mount (7b) of propeller shaft

Inspect
6 Check boot (4), rubber mount (7b) and grooved ball bearing (8)
- Check for wear and if there is a complaint replace defective parts.

7 Install in the reverse order.
