Technical information
On all vehicles without:
^ Code 950 EVOLUTION AMG sport package
^ Code 952 Sport package
^ Code 486 MB sports suspension
^ Code 489 All-round level control system
^ Code 954 Avant-garde as of model refinement package 06.2006 for a conversion to 17 or 18 inch tires new stop rubbers must be fitted as jounce limitation.

Legal provisions
Before a conversion to 17 or 18 inch tires the following must be available:
^ a corresponding expert's report on the parts (Federal Republic of Germany)
^ national legislation must be taken into account (except Federal Republic of Germany).

^ With standard suspension
^ With code 485 Standard suspension instead of Avant-garde suspension
^ With code 494 California version
^ With code 482 Suspension with increased ground clearance

The standard production jounce buffers on the front axle must be replaced by other stop rubbers.
