GF82.95-P-2000TM TELE AID Switch-on/switch-off Characteristics, Function
- with CODE (359) TELE AID emergency call system
Function requirements
Each telematics service must be authorized separately. If a malfunction occurs or no authorization takes place, an error message is displayed on the multifunction display (A1p13) of the instrument cluster (A1) and on the display of the COMAND operating, display and control unit (A40/3). The system is ready for operation when circuit 30 is active.
Self-test
If circuit 15R is active, the emergency call system control unit (N123/4) performs a self-test (approx. t = 3.5 sec.). If the test is successful the system is ready for operation.
Emergency call termination
Deactivation is normally carried out by the emergency call center.
The emergency call set-up is aborted after the emergency call system control unit (N123/4) has attempted to dial in 5 times without success.
