Uncomfortable Shift Quality in Partial Load Ranges / Affecting Upshifts 1-2, 2-3 and Downshifts 3-2, 2-1
If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicle of uncomfortable shift quality in partial-load ranges, affecting upshifts 1-2, 2-3 and downshifts 3-2, 2-1, the cause is a variation in the engine torque signals at the engine/transmission interface. This condition can be resolved by flashing the engine control module with the update found in the 04/08 SDS release.
Note:
The engine control module must be SCN coded after the flashing process.
