The quantity mean value adaptation is a learn function of the CDI control unit (N3/9). Based on measurement from the left hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/6) (except model 461), the right hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/7) (except model 461), the hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/5) (model 461) and the O2 sensor upstream of TWC (G3/2) the exhaust gas recirculation (AGR) rate is corrected in such a way that the emission levels are not made worse due to tolerances of the fuel injectors (Y76), the left and right hot film mass air flow sensor (except model 461) and the hot film mass air flow sensor (model 461).
