Engine Oil: Adjustments

AR18.00-P-3035-01TI Check oil level

Engine lubrication system:

1 Warm up engine to normal operating temperature.
2 Pull dipstick out of guide tube and clean.

In order to avoid measurement errors, vehicle must be parked on an even surface.

3 Insert dipstick fully and leave in this position for at least 3 seconds.
4 Pull dipstick out of guide tube and read off oil level; fill with oil as required up to the "Max" mark.

After checking oil level, ensure that dipstick is seated correctly, otherwise damage to engine may result.
