AR77.21-P-0520T Remove/Install Outer Support of Front Panoramic Glass Roof
- with CODE (413) Panoramic sliding roof
- with CODE (419) Solar module for panoramic roof







DANGER:
- Risk of injury to fingers being jammed or squeezed when removing and installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/tailgate or sliding roof.
- When moving components, ensure that no body parts or limbs are within the operating range of moving parts.

1 Remove water deflector of panoramic roof
2 Remove rubber bellows of front panoramic glass roof (4)

NOTE: The rail of the rubber bellows can remain on the tilting/sliding roof cover.

3 Loosen cover (6) at front glass roof (4) (arrow)
4 Release catch lug (5) of cover (6) from the passenger compartment
5 Push out cover (6) toward bottom
6 Unscrew bolts (2) of outer support (1)
7 Push outer support (1) toward front out of the guide rail (3)
8 Clean slide blocks of outer support (1) with rag
9 Lubricate slide blocks of outer support (1)
10 Clean and lubricate guide rail (3) with rag
11 Insert outer support (1) from front into the guide rail (3)
12 Pivot outer support (1) upward
13 Loosely screw bolts (2) into the outer support (1)

NOTE: Replace bolts (2).

14 Press outer support (1) upward, simultaneously press front glass roof (4) down and tighten bolts (2)
- Bolt of outer support to front glass roof: 5 N.m

NOTE: The front glass roof (4) must only show a minimum play.

15 Open panoramic roof, close and move again to tilt position
- Pay attention to noises of the panoramic roof mechanics.
16 Insert cover (6) from below and clip on

NOTE: Cover (6) must fit firmly.

17 Install rubber bellows of front panoramic glass roof (4)
18 Install water deflector of panoramic roof
