AR77.21-P-0400TA Remove/Install Panoramic Roof Drive
- with CODE (413) Panoramic sliding roof
- with CODE (419) Solar module for panoramic roof

Illustrated On Removed Panoramic Roof:

DANGER:
- Risk of injury to fingers being jammed or squeezed when removing and installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/tailgate or sliding roof.
- When moving components, ensure that no body parts or limbs are within the operating range of moving parts.

1 Remove front panoramic glass roof
2 Remove front panoramic roof sun shade (3)
3 Remove rear panoramic roof sun shade (2)
4 Remove panoramic sliding roof drive unit (M12/6)
5 Remove sliding sunroof lining drive unit (M12/5)
6 Remove tie straps (9)
7 Disconnect electrical connector (8).
8 Expose electric lead (7) to left side of vehicle
9 Unclip electric wiring harness (11) from A-pillar.
10 Expose electric lead (10) from electric wiring harness (11)

NOTE: Remove insulating tape from electric wiring harness (11).

11 Disconnect electrical connector (12)
12 Press connector of electric lead (10) out of electrical connector (12)

13 Unscrew screws (4, 5, 6)
14 Remove panoramic roof drive (1) and remove from vehicle

NOTE: Sun shade couplings can fall out

15 Move panoramic roof drive (1) into vehicle and position

NOTE: Observe sun shade couplings

16 Loosely screw in screws (4, 5, 6)

NOTE: Replace bolts (6).

17 Align panoramic roof drive (1) and tighten screws (4, 5, 6)
18 Adjust panoramic roof drive (1)
- Screw on sliding roof drive Torx: 4 N.m

19 Install sliding sunroof lining drive unit (M12/5)
20 Install panoramic sliding roof drive unit (M12/6)
21 Install rear panoramic roof sun shade (2)
22 Install front panoramic roof sun shade (3)
23 Route electric lead (7) and fasten with cable strap
24 Connect electrical connector (8)
25 Clip connector of electrical lead (10) into electrical connector (12) and check for tight seat
26 Insert electric lead (10) into electric wiring harness (11) and wrap with insulating tape.
27 Clip electric wiring harness (11) into A-pillar
28 Connect electrical connector (12)
29 Provide tie strap (9)
30 Install front panoramic glass roof
