AR77.20-P-3000T Remove/Install Sliding/Pop-Up Roof Frame
- with CODE (414) Power glass tilting/sliding roof

1 Remove paneling from sliding/pop-up roof
2 Remove sliding/pop-up roof panel
3 Remove headliner
4 Remove front roof paneling
5 Remove rear roof trim
6 Disconnect all electrical connectors from roof crossbeam,expose wiring harnesses, separate tie straps and remove roof crossbeam
7 Remove water drain hoses (1)

CAUTION: Do not damage water drain hoses (1), otherwise penetrating water may cause damage.

8 Insert assembly pliers (5) on both sides

NOTE: The assembly pliers (5) secure the sliding/pop-up roof frame (6).

See "Special Tools" given below.

9 Unscrew screws (2, 3)
- Screw on sliding/pop-up roof frame: 8 N.m

NOTE: Installation: Do not mix up screws (2, 3)

10 Take sliding/pop-up roof frame (6) out of vehicle

CAUTION: Remove both assembly pliers (5) simultaneously, otherwise the sliding/pop-up roof frame (6) could be damaged.

NOTE
- Helper required
- Installation: Replace seal (4).

11 Install in the reverse order
