- Switch off ignition.
- Detach coupling at component Y10/1 (Power steering pump pressure regulator valve).
- Connect adapter cable no. 220 589 00 99 37 to engine wiring harness Y10/1 (Power steering pump pressure regulator valve).
- Measure direct voltage with multimeter between ground and socket (Y10/1x1) 2
- Switch on ignition.

- Voltage[11...14] V
