Equipped with Park Assist (SA code 229), Advanced Parking Guidance (SA code 230), or Blind Spot Assist (SA code 234).

Park Assist Activates

If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles of the Park Assist system falsely detecting and warning of obstructions in situations where precipitation is falling and no fault codes are stored or present relating to the Park Assist system, this may be due to water streaming off the engine hood and over the front bumper. Since radar beams can be deflected by water, the Park Assist indicators may identify streaming water as an object. Do not replace any parts. This is a physical limitation of the system. Please advise the customer of the situation.
