Location
The in-car temperature sensor is located in the area of the steering wheel below the trim strip of the instrument pane

Task
The in-car temperature sensor is used to detect the temperature in the vehicle interior.

Function
The in-car temperature sensor consists of a temperature dependent resistor which changes its resistance value as the temperature changes. This value is used by the AAC [KLA] control unit (N22/1) to calculate the temperature in the vehicle interior.
