Ignition switch lock, function
The electronic ignition lock control unit (N73) is connected mechanically to the floor shift via a Bowden cable. The mechanical components prevent the transmitter key from being removed when selector lever position "P" is not engaged (A8/1).

The transmitter key can only be turned and removed in selector lever position "P" in position 0.
