GF27.19-P-5145CWQ Electric Controller Unit, Component Description

GF27.19-P-5145CWQ Electric controller unit, component description
- Transmission 722.9

Component Identification:

Location
The fully integrated transmission control controller unit, the valve housing, the intermediate panel and the valve body are connected together with bolts and mounted under the transmission housing.

Task
The fully integrated transmission control controller unit receives the various input signals and converts the control unit information into hydraulic functions.

Component Identification:

Design
The fully integrated transmission control controller unit consists of a plastic supporting body in which the following electrical components are housed:
^ Turbine wheel rpm sensor
^ Internal transmission speed rpm sensor
^ Output shaft rpm sensor
^ Fully integrated transmission control control unit with integrated transmission oil temperature sensor (Y3/8s2)
^ Selection range sensor
^ Working pressure control solenoid valve
^ Clutch control solenoid valve K1
^ Clutch control solenoid valve K2
^ Clutch control solenoid valve K3

Function
In the fully integrated transmission control controller unit, signals from the fully integrated transmission control control unit are converted into hydraulic functions. The following electrical components supply input signals to the fully integrated transmission control control unit:
^ Turbine wheel rpm sensor
^ Internal transmission speed rpm sensor
^ Output shaft rpm sensor
^ Transmission oil temperature sensor, integrated in the fully integrated transmission control control unit
^ Selection range sensor
^ Multidisk brake control solenoid valve B1
^ Multidisk brake control solenoid valve B2
^ Multidisk brake control solenoid valve B3
^ Torque converter lockup clutch control solenoid valve

The printed-conductor foil which is inserted in the supporting body makes the connection between the electrical components and the plug socket.

Apart from the solenoid valves all the other electrical components are permanently connected to the printed-conductor foil.

The connection to the cable set on the vehicle side is made with a bayonet lock via the plug socket.

The control solenoid valves listed are actuated by the fully integrated transmission control control unit and trigger hydraulic functions:
^ Working pressure control solenoid valve
^ Multidisk brake control solenoid valve B1
^ Multidisk brake control solenoid valve B2
^ Multidisk brake control solenoid valve B3
^ Clutch control solenoid valve K1
^ Clutch control solenoid valve K2
^ Clutch control solenoid valve K3
^ Torque converter lockup clutch control solenoid valve
