GF27.10-P-3020CW Function of Locking of Selector Lever Position "P"

GF27.10-P-3020CW Function of locking of selector lever position "P"
- Transmission 722.6

Function
One of the functions of the shift lock is to lock the selector lever in position "P". The selector lever is locked electronically.

The selector lever remains locked in position "P", when the brake is not operated or the electronic selector lever module control unit is not supplied with voltage.

As of "circuit 15 ON" the electronic selector lever module control unit actuates the selector lever positions R and P locking solenoid, when selector lever position "P" is detected and the brake pedal and thus the brake light switch is operated.

The selector lever positions R and P locking solenoid releases the selector lever and thus permits a shift out of selector lever position "P".
