Replacing the Longitudinal Member Below the Main Floor Panel

Any 204 up to December 31, 2007 requiring repair involving the main floor panel, will also affect the longitudinal member.

A. Installing Left Main Floor Panel

When installing the left main floor panel (A 204 610 11 60) together with the left longitudinal member (A 204 610 05 23), the new tank holder (A 204 610 03 36) must also be simultaneously installed on the left.

In addition, the thread on the left longitudinal member (A 204 610 05 23), which is the rear tunnel reinforcement connection, must be reduced from M10 to M8 using a helicoil.

B. Installing Right Main Floor Panel

When installing the right main floor panel (A 204 610 12 60) with the right longitudinal member (A 204 610 06 23), the new tank holder (A 204 610 04 36) must be simultaneously installed on the right.

In addition, the thread on the right longitudinal member (A 204 610 06 23), which is the rear tunnel reinforcement connection, must be reduced from M10 to M8 using a helicoil.
