Roof Rack System Cannot Be Fitted

If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles that the roof rack system bolt is not screwing into its mounting, it may necessary to replace the screw mountings in the roof. To resolve, proceed with the following.

1. Partially remove the headliner. Refer to WIS document AR68.30-P-4300CW.

2. Install new mounting and tighten the two nuts to 10 Nm.

Note:
Do not re-cut the threads, install new mounts only.
