Warped Sliding Roof Covers/Flaps

If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles of deformed or warped covers for the roof rack mounting points on either side of the panoramic sunroof, replace the roof trim strips/covers as per the below steps.

1. Remove roof trim strips, unclip using a plastic wedge.





2. On the new trim strips, cut a 2 cm long piece of the ribs on the flap carriers using a side cutter (Figure 1).

3. Install trim strips.

Note:
The covers at the front are all 0.5 mm deeper than the trim strips. Covers at the rear are flush with the trim strip.
