Complaint:
Water ingress/corrosion in area of bottom rear window seal.

Bonding of seal at bottom of rear window becomes detached.

Remedy:
Replace seal:
If there is corrosion on the rear window frame, remove it and restore the paintwork structure in accordance with the Daimler guidelines for warranty and goodwill work.
The bottom window seal must be replaced in accordance with the description in WIS (AR77.20-P-1380R) or the SD-media video (AR - Remove/install/replace bottom seal of rear window).
Note:
The description in WIS and the SDmedia video have been revised. After the seal has been replaced, it is essential to perform a rain test in the repair area.
