First at 13,000 mi or 1 year; after first every 26,000 mi or 2 years

Engine Compartment
- Check catch, safety catch and hinges of engine hood for proper operation.

Check the following fluid levels, correct if necessary
- Brake system
- Power steering
- Windshield washer system, incl. rear window washer (where applicable)

Interior
- Reset maintenance service indicator in instrument cluster

Function check
- Warning/indicator lamps, illumination and interior lighting
- Windshield wipers, windshield washer system, headlamp cleaning system, where applicable: rear window wiper, rear window washer system.
- Audible warning system

Wheels, brakes
- Inspect tires for damage and splits, measure tread depth and record in mm
- Check condition of front brake pads/disc (remove 1 front wheel)
- Correct tire inflation pressure

Trunk
- Check battery condition using "Midtronics MCR 717" Tester.
- Check trunk lighting
- Correct spare tire inflation pressure.

Vehicle front/rear
- Check wiper blade condition
