GF80.20-P-3009TA Lock/Unlock Vehicle With Interior Switch, Function

GF80.20-P-3009TA Lock/Unlock Vehicle With Interior Switch, Function

Component Identification:

The signals of the interior central locking switch and ATA function display (N72/1s6) are transmitted to the CAN interior compartment by the upper control panel control module (N72/1). In addition, the signal of the left front door contact switch (S17/3), right (S17/4), left rear (S17/5), right rear (S17/6) and rear door lock unit (A72) is evaluated by the EIS control module (N73).

If the vehicle is locked with the "Automatic locking" function after exceeding the limit value of 15 km/h, it can be unlocked via the interior central locking and ATA function display switch (N72/1s6). The vehicle then remains unlocked even at speeds greater than the limit

The vehicle is unlocked if the driver or passenger door is opened below the limit for the "Automatic locking" function when the vehicle has been "globally" locked from outside and after actuating the interior central locking and ATA function display switch (N72/1s6)

This function is inoperative in "selectively" unlocked vehicles.

The function of the interior central locking and ATA function display switch (N72/1s6) depends on the following situations:
^ Driver's door open:
If none of the other doors is open, unlocking and locking possible.
The fuel filler flap remains open.
^ Passenger door open:
Only unlocking possible.
^ Driver and passenger door open:
Only unlocking possible.
^ Locking from outside with transmitter key:
Only locking possible.
^ Unlocking from outside with transmitter key:
If no door is open, unlocking and locking is possible.
^ Valid transmitter key inserted:
Unlocking and locking possible.
