Repair Materials:

Component Identification:

The bonding area (2) on the body flange (1) must be absolutely free of dust and grease. Apply primer filler only on body flange (1) in entire bonding area (2) when repairing damage to prevent adhesion problems when installing window. The primer stick can be used if damage is <10 %, if damage is >10 % coat body flange (1) with 2- component primer filler.

Observe the manufacturer's specifications for the curing and processing time of the primer filler.

1. Cut off residual adhesive material on body flange (1) down to a height of approx. 2 mm using suitable scraper.
2. Remove adhesive material residues.
3. Clean adhesive surface on body flange (1) with cleaner from repair kit and rub dry with rag.
4. Repair paint damage in bonding area (2) and on body flange (1) with primer stick or 2-component primer filler.
5. Apply primer from repair kit in areas where residual adhesive material on body flange (1) is missing or damaged.

Allow primer to flash off for at least 10 minutes.

6. Clean working area with wet/dry vacuum cleaner. Wet and dry vacuum cleaner.
