Front Door Window Motor: Service and Repair

AR72.29-P-1860T Remove/Install Front Door Power Window Motor

Shown On Left Front Door When Door Foil Is Removed:

1 Remove door foil from front door

NOTE: Loosen door foil as far as necessary, so that the access to the left or right front power window motor (M10/3, M10/4) is adequate.

2 Remove tie strap (2)

NOTE: Installation: Replace tie strap (2).

3 Unscrew screws (3)
- Bolt of motor of electric window lifter of front door: 4.5 N.m
4 Detach left or right front power window motor (M10/3, M10/4) with assembly wedge from inner door panel

See "Special Tools" given below.

5 Disconnect electrical connector (1) and remove left or right front power window motor (M10/3, M10/4)

NOTE: Installation: Use Isoflex Topas L 32 to coat gears on left rear power window motor (M10/5) or right rear power window motor (M10/6)

6 Install in the reverse order
