Repair Materials:

Shown on transmission 716.654

Component Identification:

1 Release lock for bolt (2a) using screwdriver and swivel bolt (2a) up through 90 degrees.
2 Remove bolt (2a) from center shifter console (2).
3 Pull locking pin (3) out of connecting piece (4).

Installation: The locking pin (3) must be replaced because it is bent during removal.

Installation: Apply light coating of grease to pin (2a) and locking pin (3).

4 Remove center shifter console (2) from transmission and shift rod (1) with connecting piece (4) from main shaft.
5 Install in the reverse order.
